How to Replace a Land Rover Battery
If your Land Rover is showing a "SMART KEY BATTERY low" message on the instrument panel it's time for you to replace the battery. These are the steps to do it!

Activity Key
The Land Rover Activity Key is an easier way to lock and unlock your vehicle. The wristband is wearable and replaces your traditional key fob, allowing you to lead an active lifestyle without worrying that it could be lost or forgotten.
Suitable for new Land Rover and Range Rover models, the Activity Key is an optional extra that works in conjunction with your traditional smart key fob to lock and unlock your vehicle. The system employs an invisible sensor embedded into the bodywork (e.g. a letter "J" in the tailgate script) to unlock the vehicle and reconnect the standard key fob inside the cabin.
First, you'll have to switch off the engine of your car and leave the normal key fob in the cabin. Once you've left the car, shut all doors and hold the Activity Key to the Jaguar symbol on the tailgate for a few seconds. This will activate the system's antennae, and your hazard lights will flash to confirm that you're locked in.
To activate your antennae once again simply press the tailgate release key when you are ready to return to your vehicle. This will allow the activity key to lock and unlock your vehicle and your hazard lights will again flash in confirmation that your smart key fob is not working until you return.
It's quick and simple. But, it's crucial to keep in mind that the Activity Key will only be activated for 30 seconds while your vehicle is locked. It won't work properly if you delay too long.
The Jaguar Activity Key is available on the F-Pace, XF Sportbrake, E-Pace, I-Pace, and Discovery SUVs. It also works with most Land Rover models, including the Discovery Sport, Velar, and Range Rover Sport.
